Enrolling Client Organisations
Create client organisations, complete their profile, and invite the client owner.
Partners enrol client organisations directly from the partner portal: create the organisation, complete its profile on the client's behalf, and invite the client's owner — so the client's first sign-in lands them in a ready-made workspace with playbooks already tailored to their environment.
Before You Start
- Enrolment is available to partner owners and admins. Members can view client organisations but not create or manage them.
- Your partner agreement includes a maximum number of client organisations; the Add client organisation button shows your current usage and disables at the limit. Contact [email protected] to raise it.
The Enrolment Flow
Create the Organisation
From Partner Portal → Organisations, click Add client organisation. Search Companies House to pre-fill the registered details (name, number, address, company type), or enter them manually. Choose the client's sector — this drives their regulatory profile (ICO, FCA, DSPT and so on) and which playbook content applies.
Invite the Client Owner
Enter the email address of the person who will own the organisation. They receive an invitation valid for 7 days; on acceptance they become the organisation's owner with full control. Their 14-day trial starts at enrolment, so the workspace is live immediately.
Complete the Profile on Their Behalf
Open the organisation and click Edit profile to record what you already know as their technology partner: technology stack (email platform, identity provider, EDR, SIEM, backups and more), IT team model, cyber insurance, data protection contacts, and the incident command structure. Everything you fill in flows straight into their personalised playbook content.
Track the Invitation
The organisation page shows the owner invitation's status — pending, accepted, or expired — with Resend and Revoke controls until it is accepted.
What partners can and cannot do
Partners manage the organisation's profile and see playbook status, drills and activity, but cannot edit the client's playbook content itself — content changes belong to the client's own team and external collaborators they invite. Every partner action is recorded in both the client's audit log and your partner audit trail.
Detaching an Organisation
Remove organisation detaches the client from your partner account without deleting anything: the client keeps their organisation, data and access, and the slot is freed against your organisation limit. Use this when a client moves to direct billing or another provider.
For day-to-day oversight of enrolled clients — playbook readiness, drill activity and customisation progress — see Managing Client Organisations.
